a word from the owner...

"This was my dream first home! The conservation area is so beautiful, with great neighbours, pubs, cafes and Wanstead Flats which was perfect for walking the dog. The other direction is everything I needed plus a short walk to the central line to get to my job in the city. Having the dead end at the end of the road made the street super quiet too. It had a real 'villagey' vibe and I'll miss it very much!"

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

High Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
